With so much candy being passed out to trick or treaters and partygoers over the Halloween season, sometimes too much of a good thing is, well, too much. Moderation is key when it comes to your child's health as candy can promote tooth decay and damage to teeth and braces.
Halloween Candy Buyback
Beginning Thursday, November 1st - Friday, November 9th at 2 p.m., trick-or-treaters can bring their excess candy to Family Laser and Cosmetic Dentistry and receive $1 per pound. In addition to getting some change for your overabundance of candy, you can feel good knowing that we'll be sharing it with our troops and spreading some sweetness! Dr. Mansour, DDS has joined the movement to reduce gingivitis and anti-decay by giving away dollars, toothbrushes and local favors in exchange for cavity-provoking candy.
Our practice chose to participate in the Halloween Candy Buyback to help parents that want to limit the amount of damage that can be done to their children’s teeth. We want to encourage and teach preventative care not just last-ditch efforts to save a smile,” says Dr Mansour, DDS.
