What’s Your Favorite Toy?
Our office is once again a proud supporter of the Toys for Tots program. Stop by and drop off a new, unwrapped toy during regular business hours through Friday, December 9th at Noon and be a part of this long-standing effort to share the holiday spirit and some fun with children across the country.
Don’t know what to donate? Gifts are meant to assist children up to age 12 but children up to 16 are still part of the program. Although no list of requested toys is provided to keep the donations varied, it is suggested you think of what a child in your own life of a certain age would enjoy. Ideas for older children include backpacks, books, board games, bath gift sets, helmets and other items that speak to the interest of older kids who may have outgrown toys but still love to be thought of during the holidays.
So whether it’s a newer version of a favorite toy from your own childhood, a book that is a personal favorite or a rad helmet for a kid to safely bike ride or skateboard in their neighborhood, sharing the holiday spirit with a child who will get something of their very own this season is a pretty good feeling. And don’t forget, if you donate, you’ll be entered to win tickets to see the Detroit Pistons take on the Charlotte Hornets this January!
During this season of giving thanks, we want to extend you a special thank you for your support throughout the year. From all of us to all of you, wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving!
